Ceftiofur Bacterial infections 1.0 mg/kg IM q 24 hours
Cephaloridine Bacterial infections 12.5 mg/kg IM q 12 hours for 5 - 14 days
Chloramphenicol Bacterial infections 30 - 50 mg/kg PO, IM, SQ q 12 hours
Ciprofloxacin Bacterial infections 10 - 20 mg/kg PO q 12 hours
Doxycycline Bacterial infections 2.5 - 5.0 mg/kg PO q 12 hours
Enrofloxacin Bacterial infections 5.0 - 10 mg/kg PO, IM q 12 hours
Fenbendazole Parasites 5.0 mg/kg PO stat, or every week for 4 weeks
Gentamicin Bacterial infections 6.0 mg/kg SQ q 24 hours - use cautiously
Metronidazole Bacterial infections 10 - 40 mg/kg PO q 24 hours
Neomycin Bacterial infections 12 - 16 mg/kg PO q 12 hours
Sulfamethazine Bacterial infections 1.0 mg/mL PO q 24 hours
