Spanish Giant

From Rabbit

The rabbits have the size of a small lamb and weigh between 5.5 and seven kilos. The breed was established in 1912 when some farmers in Valencia tried to produce an animal which would provide as much meat as possible. At the time the breed was exported to Europe, Cuba, Argentina and Chile, and only a few examples remains in Spain, on a farm in Buñol and another in Asturias.
